A veteran-led non-profit is assisting Americans stranded in Sudan as conflict continues despite reports of a 72-hour cease-fire.

A representative from the organization described the situation in Sudan as fragile, comparing the cease-fire to a game of Jenga.

“The opportunity for mistakes is very real… Just because the higher-ups make an agreement doesn’t mean a young kid doesn’t make a mistake that turns into the shot heard around the world,” they said.
